We are seeking a talented and motivatedMid-Level Node.js Backend Developerto join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Node.js, a solid understanding of backend development principles, and expertise in working with bothrelational (SQL)andnon-relational (NoSQL)databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust backend services and APIs usingNode.js.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and optimize database schemas for bothrelational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)andnon-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, debugging, and peer reviews.
  • Implement secure and scalable solutions, including authentication and authorization systems.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
  • Maintain technical documentation for backend services, workflows, and APIs.
  • Work in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–4 years in backend development with Node.js.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Databases: Proficiency in relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, including schema design and optimization.
  • APIs: Hands-on experience with building RESTful APIs; knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
  • Frameworks: Expertise in server-side frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
  • Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; experience with Docker is a plus.
  • Security: Understanding of web application security principles and OWASP best practices.
  • Architecture: Experience with microservices, API gateways, and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Performance: Knowledge of caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

Pay: Rs. 150,000 - Rs. 180,000 (As per the candidate's skill set and experience)
