Role and Responsibilities
  1. Produce quality, on-budget, and on-schedule solutions on projects.
  2. Creatively solve complex problems.
  3. Conduct development on the SFCC platform using a multi-site SFRA architecture.
  4. Create pixel-perfect representations across browser types of design files delivered in Sketch or Photoshop.
  5. Manage continuous frontend performance optimization.
  6. Contribute to internal initiatives like improving the development processes.
  7. Plan, design, build, and review content-managed, usable, accessible, and standards-compliant websites.
  8. Participate in frontend web development project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA, and delivery.
  9. Assist producers/project managers with effort estimation, timeline planning, and project requirement gathering.
  10. Inculcate a culture of innovation and high quality in the teams.
  11. Influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively with leadership.
  12. Motivate, mentor, and encourage multi-tasking within the team.
  13. Work in a fast-paced development environment - interact with product owners, business analysts, testers, and developers.
  14. Design overall solutions and individual applications.
  15. Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  16. Manage team concerns in the right way with guidance from the division head.
  17. Identify team members' capabilities and utilize them to the organization's advantage.
Skills And Experience
  1. Experience in developing business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
  2. Expertise in SFRA is mandatory.
  3. Thorough knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, object-oriented JavaScript, and jQuery.
  4. Hands-on experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass CSS and LESS.
  5. Expertise in document-object model (DOM).
  6. Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Extensive experience in creating responsive web applications.
  8. Knowledge of presentation, web, business, and data access layers and their interactions. Experience working with highly trafficked, scalable web applications.
  9. Understanding of all phases of the software development cycle.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write clear designs and technical specifications.
  11. Good understanding of SEO principles and adherence to them.
  12. Experience creating tools that enhance site interaction.
  13. Significant experience creating accessible web components.
  14. Understanding of modular CSS development methodologies such as BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS, and Atomic Design.
  15. Practical knowledge of accessibility standards, WCAG 2.1 AA, and ARIA.
  16. Familiarity with ES6 and JavaScript Frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue.
