Research Associate: Department of Chemistry at Government College University, Faisalabad. Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for a one-year contract position under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) - HEC project No. 5612/Punjab/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2016, titled "Bisphenol A–associated type 2 diabetes mellitus: Pathogenesis and prospects for treatment."
Eligibility: Applicants must be Pakistani nationals and not married to a foreign national.
Position details
- Post name: Research Associate (1)
- Monthly Stipend: PKR 25,000 per month
- Contract duration: 01 year (Extendable to 03 years)
Qualification & Experience
- PhD student (fresh admission in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Pharmacology will be preferred)
- Experience: Running Microplate ELISA reader, collection of blood samples from study participants, evaluation of various biochemical biomarkers, tissue analysis and interpretation of demographical data. Candidate with project-relevant background will be preferred.
Project information
The project duration is 36 months. The above position is purely temporary. The incumbent will be required to sign a surety bond for the entire duration of the project. The selected candidate could use partial project data for his/her PhD thesis with the consent of the PI (supervisor). Intellectual property rights will remain with the Principal Investigator; the student (research Associate) will not claim rights in this regard.
