We are seeking an experienced Head of Technical Apps to lead our application development teams. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure successful mobile project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team management, process optimization, project delivery, and maintaining technical excellence.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage Android and iOS developers; set objectives; conduct performance reviews; foster a high-performance culture; build a strong team by hiring top talent; promote innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  2. Technical Oversight & Architecture: Oversee technical architecture and development processes; ensure best practices in coding, performance, and security; guide adoption of scalable architectures and modern methodologies; stay updated with mobile development trends; encourage AI feature integration.
  3. Project & Product Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver apps; manage timelines and releases; implement Agile methodologies; proactively address risks and dependencies.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Backend, DevOps, and QA teams; align roadmaps with business goals; coordinate with marketing and analytics teams for data-driven decisions.
  5. Performance Optimization & QA: Improve app performance and user experience; implement testing strategies; ensure compliance with app store guidelines.
Requirements:Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years in mobile development (Android & iOS), with 3+ years in leadership
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C
  • Experience with Android Jetpack, MVVM, Room; iOS frameworks like SwiftUI, CoreData
  • Experience with SDK integrations, APIs, Firebase, push notifications
  • Expertise in CI/CD, automated testing, release management
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase
  • Experience with AI and machine learning integration is a plus
Leadership & Management Skills:
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban
  • Track record of delivering complex mobile apps
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
