As Assistant Manager – Procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services ensuring cost-effective and timely supply and maintaining vendor relationships for organizational success.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing and service levels.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
  • Negotiate on pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procurement policies and procedures. Order fulfilment and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
  • Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. Identify areas for automation and streamlining to enhance procurement operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the procurement process. Promote ethical and responsible procurement practices.
  • Ensure Procurement KPI's are met with compliance to department policy and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
