The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 Off-Campus Hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
- Performing radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians.
- Ensuring maintenance of relevant equipment and making minor adjustments if required, and reporting to the supervisor in case of any fault or breakdown.
- Performing daily quality assurance activities.
- Providing preparatory information to the patient pre and post-radiological procedures.
- Adhering to safety procedures, including radiation safety.
You should have:
- Intermediate in Science, preferably having a Bachelor's degree in Science or a one-year Radiography certificate course from a recognized institute.
- At least two years of experience as a Radiographer or having completed at least one year of traineeship in Radiography from a reputable hospital.
- Knowledge of judging film quality, patient positioning, film developing, supplies handling, and general record keeping.
- Good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of diagnostic procedures and operation of equipment.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
