The Public Relations & Reputation Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance Premier's brand visibility, thought leadership, and reputation across media and digital platforms. This role will focus on securing earned media opportunities, managing social media engagement, and proactively managing peer-reputation risk sites. The ideal candidate will have a blend of PR, media relations, analyst relations, external communications and social media expertise, with the ability to work collaboratively across large enterprise teams to align efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic PR & Media Outreach

  • Develop and execute an internal PR plan reflecting brand priorities and business objectives.
  • Pitch and secure earned media placements across verticals: BPO, tech, AI, CX, DX, FAO, and more.
  • Create Research and develop tailored media lists and coordinate outreach, follow-up, and interview logistics.
  • Draft and distribute press materials (press releases, artifacts, videos),
  • Establish cadence and frequent contributor articles, op-eds).,
  • Identify and secure podcast opportunities for executive leadership, aligning topics with brand narrative and strategic goals.
  • Lead planning around breaking news (newsjacking) and timely pitching.

Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and industry conversations across platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Google Alerts).
  • Design rapid-response protocols for reputation risks, misinformation, and negative coverage.
  • Coordinate with legal and executive teams on sensitive messaging and communications.

Digital & Social Media Leadership

  • Own and execute the organic social media strategy (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
  • Write and publish thought leadership content (e.g., executive posts, industry reactions).
  • Engage actively with audiences to foster positive dialogue and community growth.
  • Track social KPIs (engagement, follower growth, reach, sentiment) and adjust strategies accordingly.

Internal Communication & Alignment

  • Collaborate closely with marketing on campaigns, launches, and internal initiatives.
  • Prepare media kits and speaker briefs and provide coaching to enhance executive visibility opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to prepare for podcast interviews, including briefing, messaging, and follow-up amplification across channels.
  • Develop internal processes and templates to ensure consistent communication.

Reporting & Insights

  • Maintain a media tracker of all secured coverage with reach, SEO value, and ad equivalent.
  • Deliver monthly analytics dashboards including PR wins, social performance, and risk mitigation efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5 years in PR, media relations, or reputation management, preferably in BPO, tech, or professional services.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as HARO to track journalist beats preferred
  • Analyst relations and peer reputation site experience preferred
  • 2+ years' Experience in B2B organizations, U.S. based
  • Support U.S. east coast hours of operation

Skills

  • Strong pitching and storytelling abilities.
  • Expertise in social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools (Muck Rack, Meltwater) and SEO principles.
  • Crisis communication experience.
  • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Performance Metrics

  • Media placements coverage (contributed articles, quotes) secured per quarter.
  • Positive sentiment trends in brand coverage.
  • Social media growth (followers, engagement rates).
  • Timeliness and effectiveness of reputation risk response sites for leads.
  • Number and quality of executive podcast features secured, along with audience reach
