  • Responsible to provide Design of Plumbing (water supply, Sewerage, Drainage), Firefighting, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems, vertical transport systems, swimming pool and water feature systems.
  • Perform/ Provide Hydraulic calculations and design studies, equipment sizing calculation for Firefighting and Plumbing. Traffic analysis for vertical transport. Equipment schedules for HVAC.
  • Evaluate technical submittals for all the mechanical equipment as per provided design.
  • Evaluate shop drawings and details as per requirement.
  • Generate mechanical system drawings including Single Line diagrams, Mechanical Schematics, Riser Diagrams.
  • Manage site related issues and resolve services conflicts with structural and architectural elements.
  • Prepare and verify Tender Documents including Bill of Quantities, Engineer's Cost Estimate and Technical Specifications.
  • Proficiency in work related software such as CAD, HAP, WaterGem, Elitefire etc. Revit will be considered as plus.
  • PEC certified – Professional/ Registered Engineer.

Main opportunities/challenges for this Job:

  • Coordinating with other teams and solving the core issues of MEP.
  • Present multiple design options along with cost impact analysis
  • Ensure the design is prepared in compliance with International and local standards and meeting Management/Client's requirements.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Lead Mechanical design team
  • Examining & verifying technical drawings/specifications
  • Present multiple design options along with cost impact analysis
  • Oversee projects from concept through to construction stage.
  • Provide technical support to relevant department for Coordination with government and other authorities
  • Deal with a variety of people and issues in relation to the preparation of technical designs and display the ability to work through those issues.
  • Being responsible for time management for projects
  • Distributing project goals and communicating targets with team members
  • Evaluating the quality of their team members' tasks and projects
  • Scrutiny of the contractor's shop drawings and equipment technical submittals
  • Involved in site inspection and top supervision project surveys.
  • Create workflow templates to streamline processes and increase efficiency

Minimum Graduation / Masters (Preferably Professional Engineer)
