Responsibilities:Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist the Unit Head in ensuring that gas is dispatched in a controlled manner according to consumer/distribution requirements and to support the operation of the LHF.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Support implementation of daily operational plans for the execution and maintenance of the gas system and LHF.
  2. Coordinate with seniors on pipeline target adequacy, conduct Control Room Management (CRM) activities as instructed.
  3. Gather transmission network parameters, calculate line pack transmission, and prepare daily reports on sales and purchase.
  4. Discuss daily supply strategies with seniors, considering line pack, targets, system pressure, gas pressure, and volume forecasts.
  5. Maintain daily gas control system data, monitor system gas balance, and generate demand forecasts.
  6. Monitor transmission system pressures at various PODs, SMSs, and HQ compressors.
  7. Oversee all gas pipeline data collection, including flow, pressure, temperature, and LNG supply, to support safe operations.
  8. Monitor gas delivery commitments as per GSA contracts and report data to the relevant authorities.
  9. Specify and procure materials and equipment, coordinate installation and testing with vendors.
  10. Verify gas invoice volumes timely and maintain related data.
  11. Provide technical support for budgeting and allocations.
  12. Support the implementation of Gas System Emergency Operating Plans, generate reports, and ensure a safe work environment.
  13. Comply with risk management frameworks and participate in related activities.
  14. Identify, report, and manage key risks timely.
  15. Undergo training in risk management.
  16. Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
