We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly SQL Server and Elastic Search. The Database Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing databases, writing scripts and queries, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our database systems. In addition to database administration, the candidate will collaborate with backend developers to support their data-related needs. Experience with data warehousing, big data, and data stream processing is a strong advantage.

Job Description:

  1. Design and implement database structures that meet the business requirements while ensuring data integrity and performance.
  2. Write and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and store data effectively.
  3. Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure response times, scalability, and resource utilization are optimal.
  4. Manage and maintain databases, including backup and recovery, security, user access, and version control.
  5. Collaborate closely with backend developers to understand their data needs, provide support, and develop efficient database solutions.
  6. Contribute to data warehousing projects, including data integration, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  7. Leverage expertise in big data technologies and data stream processing tools for real-time analytics and insights.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role, ideally in Fintech or large-scale Financial Applications.
  3. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  4. Familiarity with OLTP systems using SQL Server and Elastic Search.
  5. Responsible for supporting backend developers.
  6. Strong expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  7. Knowledge of data warehousing, big data, and data stream processing is a plus.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
  10. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects.
  11. Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions is a bonus.
