Senior Analyst, Accounting


• Lahore - Pakistan

Overview:

This role reports to the SC Johnson Pakistan Finance Lead and is responsible for managing the company's accounting functions with a focus on teamwork, proactivity, and accountability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review & approve all payments, collections, and journal vouchers.
  2. Manage GL closing and trial finalization.
  3. Prepare management accounts and perform monthly closing as per SCJ requirements.
  4. Prepare annual, half-yearly, and quarterly statutory financial statements.
  5. Ensure timely completion of annual audits and reviews, including fund audits.
  6. Finalize fund trials and prepare accounts.
  7. Prepare GL account reconciliations according to SCJ standards.
  8. Oversee year-end closing and submission of required forms.
  9. Review weekly/monthly AR reports and take actions for timely recoveries.
  10. Ensure compliance with SCJ policies and maintain proper books, papers, and records.
  11. Prepare documentation for banks and taxation purposes.
  12. Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Experience you'll bring:

  1. CA or ACCA qualification, with completed training/articles at a Chartered Accountant firm.
  2. Industry experience of 1-2 years preferred.
  3. Experience using ERP systems.
