Role:
As an Associate Manager – Finance Services, the chosen professional shall be responsible:

  • To sustain, build and manage one of the resource center's more diverse portfolios of staff.
  • This role reports to the Managing Director via the EVP Finance & Operations and the Manager Finance Services, and serves Department & Team Managers whose G&A - Finance staff are housed at the Resource Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with Senior Management and HR, own the Recruitment, Resources, Retention & Results of the Finance portfolio of staff (currently ~200 people).
  • Elicit and fine-tune divisions' personnel requirements to drive recruitment efforts.
  • Work closely with the Manager Finance Services to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position.
  • Coordinate with, guide and drive assigned recruiters to help source and attract appropriate candidates.
  • Develop and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with onshore & local managers to enhance communication, support departmental needs, and align hiring strategies with business objectives.
  • Organize/keep track of all open vacancies in the portfolio including what stage they are at in the process.
  • Liaise with Human Resources to maintain a pool of active candidates for frequent/similar vacancies.
  • Perform or drive the technical skills analysis component of recruitment activities for the department.
  • Support the non-technical skills analysis component of recruitment activities for the portfolio, in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Work to remain abreast with latest trends and gain knowledge relevant to the roles being managed.
  • Assist in performing routine personnel coaching and management activities to improve employee satisfaction, performance, and professional development.
  • Assist in knowledge sharing and training initiatives across teams within the service line.
  • Document and utilize service line success stories to grow the service line.
  • Assist in service quality, employee retention and business growth targets.
  • Assist in performing business development activities to promote the service line offering.
  • Assist with general skills development, marketing, and other tasks and goals, as and when required.

Success Metrics: Service Line/Departmental Cumulative Reviews Score, Departmental Retention Percentage, Service Line Growth Rate.

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced Degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Management or similar. Humanities and other graduates, with relevant work experiences also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience leading and managing teams directly and indirectly, especially involving ongoing personnel management experiences.
  • Experience in recruiting research, hiring, personnel coaching and management.
  • At least some experience should be in a team lead/manager role involving delivery of non-technical mentorship and personnel management oversight.
    • Nice to Have: A demonstrable leadership and impact role in the development of an organization dependent on the recruitment and retention of personnel.

  • Experience working in high technology industry is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • This role requires a two-month notice period.
  • This role shall be open for location at the Karachi office, with sporadic travel to the other offices 1-3 times a year.
