InstaCom is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web QA Expert to join our talented team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and evaluate software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.
  2. Develop software/system testing procedures and conduct tests.
  3. Establish software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
  4. Make technology choices at the individual level and analyze the impact.
  5. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean / Agile / XP, CI, software and scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
  6. Integrate project testing with the continuous integration process.
  7. Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  1. At least a bachelor's degree in the relevant field.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Experience in modeling, questioning, generating, explaining, and elaborating on test ideas.
  4. Good knowledge of API and Database.
  5. Experience in MySQL and MongoDB to verify data correctness and knowledge of other tools and techniques for data-intensive testing.
  6. Experience in searching through logs or crash reports to help isolate and identify the root cause of issues and comfort with command line operations.
  7. Generate test cases based on the requirements and documents provided by business and development partners.
  8. Partner with development and business resources in all phases of SDLC.
  9. Experience in test forecasting and support.
