As a Design Manager at O3 Interfaces, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the creative direction, workflow, and execution of design projects across departments. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and marketing to ensure that design deliverables are visually compelling, on-brand, and aligned with project goals. Your experience in managing design teams and understanding of design processes will be instrumental in driving efficient operations and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee the execution of multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for the design team, assign tasks, and allocate resources effectively
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams particularly development, marketing, and operations to ensure creative output meets strategic objectives and brand standards
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality, providing feedback, guidance, and support to team members
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges, risks, or resource constraints as they arise
  • Ensure clear, effective communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams regarding design objectives, progress, and deliverables
  • Track design team performance, deadlines, and project outcomes using project management tools
  • Escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary and provide strategic input on process improvements
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and productive team culture through supportive leadership and efficient process management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in design management or a similar leadership role within a creative or tech environment
  • Strong understanding of design workflows, principles, and best practices across digital and print media
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional creative teams, handling multiple concurrent projects effectively
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and advocate for creative concepts and strategies
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) is a strong plus
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
