As an IT System Analyst at Stewart, you will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements and solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent analytical skills and a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring that features are aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
  • Create and maintain the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization, using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Work closely with scrum teams to refine requirements, provide clarifications, and ensure that user stories are accurately understood and implemented.
  • Active participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to drive efficient and effective delivery of product increments.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, scrum teams, and other internal and external partners to ensure clear communication and alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and scheduling activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience as an IT System/Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable product features.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to provide updates, gather feedback, and address queries.
  • Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements using industry-standard techniques and tools.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in managing task boards, conducting scrum events and demos.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in tools and techniques, such as flow diagrams and use cases. (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Azure Boards) is a plus.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Having title industry knowledge is an advantage for this position.
