Our client, is one of the leading automotive sector with the capability to manufacture hi-grade engineering components, invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager Production for its Karachi office.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Should be familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standard and should manage production related documentation in compliance with the standard.
  2. Perform Production Planning; distribute targets and follow-up on results.
  3. To keep track of labor, equipment and process efficiency through verification and consolidation of daily production reports (DPRs).
  4. To formulate effective work instructions and ensure proper implementation on shop floor.
  5. To implement best manufacturing practices at production premises like Kaizen, 5S & Skill Matrix Charts etc.
  6. To coordinate with Quality Control & Assurance department in case of quality issues during and after production.
  7. To coordinate with Maintenance department in case of machine breakdowns and planned preventive maintenance downtimes.
  8. To coordinate with Supply Chain department for assuring the timely availability of material and consumables.
  9. To coordinate and facilitate calibration activity for various gauges and instruments used in production.
  10. To facilitate the Production and QC/QA Team for initiation, logging, management & disposal of Non-conforming products.
  11. To Train the production team on regular practicing of Daily Preventive Maintenance, Inspection & Testing Instructions and Production Recording.
  12. To Conceptualize and design parts, components, gauges, fixtures, tools etc. (whenever required).
  13. To make deliberate efforts for increasing process efficiency & suggest infrastructural changes to maximize the output.
  14. Any other task as advised by the Management.
Job Specification:
  1. Experience of handling whole Die Casting & Machining Processes.
  2. Strong Communication skills.
  3. Analytical Skills.
  4. Planning & organizing skills.
  5. Pressure Handling.
  6. Must have a "can do" approach and attitude to meet tight deadlines.
  7. Possesses sound knowledge of products, processes and mechanical cum electronic equipments.
  8. Should have command on usage of Designing Software like AutoCAD, Pro-e etc.
