TAG Capital, a leading investment development and advisory firm focused on emerging markets in Africa and Southeast Asia, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to be based in Karachi, where we have a local office. The role will involve coordination with the wider team, including our head office in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research Support:
    1. Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market dynamics, project-specific requirements, and investment opportunities.
    2. Provide insightful reports and summaries based on research findings.
  2. Data Management:
    1. Use Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation preparation.
    2. Maintain and organize data related to ongoing projects and investments.
    3. Develop financial models to support the valuation of target companies and projects.
    4. Support investment assessments and strategic decision-making through scenario analysis.
    5. Prepare concise valuation summaries and assist in investor presentations.
  3. Invoicing:
    1. Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices.
    2. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  4. Communication:
    1. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    2. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  5. Operational Support:
    1. Provide general support across operational tasks within the firm.
    2. Assist in optimizing and documenting internal processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
  2. Experience: 2–3 years of relevant work experience, including internships.

Skills:

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  2. Solid financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
  3. Strong research and analytical skills.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  5. Must be based in Karachi.
  6. Comfortable working from an office space or independently in a remote setting.
  7. Willingness to travel when necessary.
