Content Marketer

This job is based in our Marketing Sciences department. The Content Marketer will be responsible for writing copy for websites, blogs, social media posts, ads, email outreach, and conducting research/efforts necessary for online marketing initiatives.
Job Description:
- Utilize search capabilities with basic knowledge of Google operators.
- Research viral and competitor content relevant to our niche and websites.
- Experience in writing versatile content including blogs, website content, technical articles, research papers, guides, and promotional emails/ads.
- Understand technologies related to cable and TV to create helpful content.
- Write content optimized for Search Engines and Social Media, suitable for various publishing platforms.
- Adapt writing style according to the publishing platform and revise content until approved.
- Possess thorough knowledge of content marketing strategies, user funnels, and personas.
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Moz, and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with team members and navigate approval processes effectively.
- Demonstrate a continuous desire to learn new marketing techniques and technologies.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong communication and storytelling/writing skills to explain ideas vividly.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is mandatory.
