JOB SUMMARY: The Community Health Outreach Promoter is responsible for implementing health, hygiene promotion, education, and awareness components in target areas. The role involves working within the local community to promote engagement on health issues.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders and community members.
- Coordinate with program staff for project implementation.
- Conduct awareness sessions and outreach activities to inform community members about available services.
- Facilitate and organize community awareness sessions on health basics and key activities conducted at health facilities.
- Assist the community in passing complaints to management transparently through CBFRM.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties listed are representative and not exhaustive.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Secondary School Certificate / Matric
- Experience as a community volunteer
- Knowledge of local culture and languages
- Entry level
- Full-time
