Role Overview
You'll be the front-line ambassador for TMS Solar, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with EPC contractors, architects, utilities and end-users, and converting leads into long-term clients. Your strategic insights and consultative approach will help position our solar-plus-storage systems as the preferred choice in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis & Strategy
- Research industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging solar technologies
- Define target segments (residential, commercial, industrial) and develop entry strategies
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Prospect and qualify new leads via cold outreach, networking events, trade shows and referrals
- Maintain robust CRM records; track progress through each sales stage
- Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong partnerships with architects, engineers, developers and channel partners
- Conduct regular site visits and technical consultations to understand client needs
- Proposal Development & Negotiation
- Prepare technical-commercial proposals, ROI analyses and payback models
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company margins and service standards
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Finance to deliver turnkey solutions
- Provide weekly sales forecasts, market feedback and opportunity reports to leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 3–5 years' proven BD/sales experience—preferably in solar energy, electrical contracting or related infrastructure sector
- Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, inverters, storage and financing models
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with a consultative sales mindset
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office
