We are seeking a highly experienced Java developer/programmer to own parts of our products, manage small to large teams, contribute to design, and oversee implementation. The ideal candidate is passionate about modeling the world, familiar with design patterns, object-oriented design, functional programming, and test-driven development. You should be comfortable working in agile teams, delivering incremental improvements through continuous delivery pipelines. Pride in code quality, security, and robustness is essential, along with an in-depth understanding of the execution environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing solutions across your functional areas
  • Owning features and driving end-to-end delivery
  • Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code (primarily in Java)
  • Developing and debugging high-volume, low-latency, high-performance, highly available applications
  • Developing APIs using object-oriented design within an agile methodology (e.g., Scrum)
  • Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Working with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Collaborating with mentors to progress in your career
Qualifications

To qualify, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of commercial software development experience
  • Expertise in Java Platform and related technologies
  • Experience with static code analysis and linting tools
  • Comprehensive automated testing experience
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes
  • Proficiency with Git
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB
  • Good understanding of web technologies
  • Ability to work independently, self-driven
  • Passion for quality, design, and aesthetics
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
