Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Data Engineering & Data Science

Devsinc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Data Engineering and Data Science to join our innovative team. This role requires an individual capable of bridging software engineering and data science, leveraging advanced algorithms and extensive data sets to drive impactful insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop data pipelines and architectures to process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data models and algorithms for predictive analytics and machine learning.
  3. Optimize and maintain existing data systems for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
  4. Conduct data analysis to extract insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  5. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
  6. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering processes.
  7. Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and data science to innovate solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, emphasizing data engineering and data science projects.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and work in an agile environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
