We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Design, plan, document, and support the configuration of logical and physical SAN layouts.
- Be open to work in a 24x7 support environment, including rotational weekend and night shifts.
- Perform analysis and develop solutions based on established service agreements for capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Recommend and oversee projects that expand, change, or improve the systems and related infrastructure.
- Assist in reviewing performance and capacity requests and design solution resolutions.
- Contribute hands-on to the implementation of solutions supporting all projects.
- Collaborate with other infrastructure teams for new system design and engineering.
- Resolve complex issues independently; coordinate and communicate changes and issues with clients and team members, identifying root causes.
- Use automation and scripting to increase productivity and implement best practices across the storage estate.
- Perform software upgrades for SAN infrastructure, including patching, code upgrades, and vulnerability remediation of storage SAN equipment.
- Lead efforts to improve processes and achieve strategic goals within the team.
- Ensure team adherence to IT processes, including change and release management.
- Monitor, alert, and report on SAN performance and capacity.
