Hiring for Tax Executive

Client company introduction:

The company has been a leading distributor of chemicals and allied products, serving local and multinational companies.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related matters and handling general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles and be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with FBR tax regulations.
  2. Prepare and file Income Tax returns, GST returns, WHT returns, and other relevant filings.
  3. Manage tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.
  4. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  5. Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.
  6. Maintain proper documentation for tax-related matters.
  7. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  8. Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.
  9. Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
  10. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Professional Certification e.g., ACCA or CA.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting and tax management.
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan tax regulations and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

  • Work Timings: Monday to Saturday, 09:00 A.M to 06:00 P.M
  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • Location: Karachi
