Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on various destinations and travel options, considering factors such as prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews.
  • Analyze clients' specifications and preferences to suggest tailored travel packages or services.
  • Collaborate with clients from start to finish, arranging visas, bookings, transportation, and accommodations as needed.
  • Provide travelers with essential information and resources, including guides, maps, and event programs.
  • Collect deposits and balances from clients.
  • Develop promotional strategies and materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
  • Address unforeseen problems and complaints, determining eligibility for refunds as necessary.
  • Maintain familiarity with tourism trends by attending conferences and staying updated.
  • Create and update electronic records of clients.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage financial statements and documents.
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets.
Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Travel Consultant / Sales Representative with the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Travel Consultant is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in traveling software, including computer reservations systems and GDS systems, is an asset.
  • Strong English language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated sales skills and customer-centric approach.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Proven ability to handle crises.
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Prior personal travel experience is beneficial.
