Role Overview

The Admin & Security Officer is responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and evaluating a companywide security and risk management program as per the security manual guidelines of Ingredion sites to ensure the security of facilities, employees, visitors, and assets for the plant in coordination with the Manager Admin & Security. This includes regular liaison with civic and law enforcement agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders. The officer will ensure all security surveillance of the CWP site through on-site security forces and CCTV surveillance.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Security Surveillance & Risk Identification:
    • Regular security watch to assure tight control at the CWP site along with unmanned area surveillance through CCTV.
    • Identify security risks and analyze data from both external and internal sources, advising management on risk mitigation plans.
    • Liaise on all security-related investigations of security breaches and coordinate with the Manager Admin & Security and Legal team. Ensure maintenance of all security-related equipment installed in assigned locations.
  2. Technology Upgrade:
    • Oversee and provide direction for major security-related projects and physical security technologies including various key access systems, alarm systems, video surveillance systems (CCTV), and other security-related systems.
  3. Training:
    • Develop and implement a security training policy and ensure appropriate steps are taken for security compliance. Provide frequent communications to management concerning security.
  4. Corporate Security:
    • Evaluate the current security situation on an ongoing basis and implement improvements to ensure robust security for employees, visitors, and assets at the plant.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to preempt security concerns and manage crisis situations effectively.
    • Provide leadership on various security and public relations committees acting in an advisory capacity.
  5. Engagement:
    • Work with the Plant Management team to develop and implement identified action plans.
    • Support the Leadership Team in embedding the Company's Vision, Mission, Corporate Policies on Business Conduct, Environment, Health & Safety, Functional SOPs, Suppliers Code of Conduct, Systems, and local policies and procedures at the site.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven Admin & Security experience at a manufacturing facility.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Results-driven to set, prioritize, and enable achievement of goals.
  • Operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and across multiple functions.
  • Strong project management, presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Ex-Army / Armed Forces personnel with post-retirement relevant manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
