Salary: 70k-100k (depends on relevant experience

Location: Metroville, Site Area, Karachi

Key Tasks & Responsibilities


• Research potential vendors for continuous improvement and cost savings


• Purchases products, services, and assets Import & Local


• CAPEX/OPEX handling projects by makings reports for vendor, costing, material for approval


• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers by keeping the good quality and capacity of the suppliers


• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing


• Track orders and ensure timely delivery


• Enter requisitions / Purchase Orders in SAP


• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices


• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses


• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed


• LC processing and order processing


• Handle Shipment loading, shipment documents, shipment release process and shipment costing


• coordinate with factory for in-bound shipment delivery and warehousing


• Manage clearing agent invoicing and payments


• Support Customs issues for inbound shipments


• Work closely with cross functional teams on new product developments for material and vendor sourcing as per correct specifications to ensure NPD success


• Finding new sources of materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.


• Comparing the prices of different vendors for gaining maximum ROI


• Negotiating contracts on reasonable terms for pricing and supply.


• Tracking the orders and ensuring timely deliveries.


• Resolving shipments in error with suppliers.


• Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.


• Handle Purchase requisitions received from various departments


• Ensure monthly purchasing of general items, R&D materials, stationary, housekeeping material etc. from suppliers


• Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

  • Min Bachelor in Supply chain or equivalent
  • Must have 2-3 year experience in Cosmetics/ FMCG or pharmaceutical company
  • Negotiation skills must be strong
