Ingredion seeks a dedicated production professional with a background in Chemical Engineering. As a Junior Production Engineer, you will lead shifts, manage production flow, and ensure smooth operations. This role reports to the Plant Production Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Achieving shift-wise production targets for quality and quantity, controlling product losses, and maintaining shift reports and attendance.
• Coordinating with the Shift Chemist to address in-process non-conformances and maintaining separate grades of products. Ensuring weighing scales are operational.
• Monitoring process equipment performance, ensuring proper maintenance, and liaising with the Shift Engineer for plant shutdowns and operations during load shedding.
• Implementing process improvements, promoting continuous development, and leveraging technological advancements.
• Ensuring safety of products, equipment, and workers, enforcing PPE use, conducting EHS and production training.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc/B.E in Chemical Engineering with 1+ years of experience.
• Manufacturing literacy and knowledge of instrumentation and DCS/SLC operation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in labor management.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and controlling plant issues.
• Understanding of GMP/HACCP procedures.
• Strong safety and environmental awareness.
