Responsibilities
  • Monitor Air Freight Operations in accordance with corporate/country business strategy as well as local business/competition environment, to provide and maintain a service level exceeding customer expectation.
  • Develop strong, sustainable relationships with customers, carriers, etc.
  • Selecting/finalizing overseas agents as per requirement.
  • Negotiate with Airlines/Suppliers on contractual/business arrangements.
  • Strategic business planning and budgeting related to Air Freight business.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of product and business development, resource utilization, branch AFR organization and activities.
  • Facilitate and support branches' efforts in maintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and government agencies & authorities.
  • Airline/Supplier contract, performance and relationship management.
  • Responsible for all IATA compliances.
  • Monitor IATA / ACCAP & Civil Aviation certificate for yearly renewal.
  • Responsible for overall AFR Operations - AFR sites/facilities, traffic management, technical support, resource allocation and local purchasing.
  • Prepare department budgets and take ownership.
  • Approvals for all AFR related payments- including IATA and agents.
Skills & Experience

More than 8 years of relevant experience preferred with some renowned companies.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
