JOB SUMMARY: The GBV Manager is responsible for implementing a GBV program, including technical oversight of services and activities, capacity building, staff support and supervision, internal and external coordination, and reporting.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities- Program Planning
- Lead GBV assessments, ensuring safety and ethical standards are met
- Identify local partners and women's networks to promote women's and girls' rights and address GBV
- Ensure programs are driven by women and girls, planned with community stakeholders
- Identify locations and orientation for services, including safe spaces
- Contribute to concept notes, proposals, and appeals
- Work with technical advisors and program teams to achieve goals and ensure quality
- Adhere to IMC's GBV standards and inter-agency guidelines
- Lead program interventions and establish response services
- Build capacity of staff and partners in technical areas
- Organize and facilitate technical trainings
- Establish supervision and information management systems
- Ensure community participation and leadership of women and girls
- Develop prevention and awareness strategies
- Monitor and improve program interventions
- Contribute to timely and accurate reporting
- Coordinate with service providers and establish referral pathways
- Participate in coordination meetings to ensure visibility
- Build capacity of other sectors for GBV integration
- Represent program goals and advocate with leaders and agencies
- Select and orient staff and volunteers
- Support, coach, and supervise team members
- Develop support strategies and promote team-building and self-care
- Conduct performance appraisals
- Develop work plans aligned with budgets
- Procure supplies as needed
- Ensure donor compliance
- Ensure adherence to security protocols
- Review activities for security implications
- Foster a safe working environment
- Uphold principles of respect, non-discrimination, and gender equality
- Maintain program and organizational credibility through adherence to policies

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in social work, public health, gender studies, or related field; relevant experience may substitute
- 7+ years' progressive experience in GBV programming
- Knowledge and application of GBV core principles and standards
- Experience in humanitarian contexts and regional experience preferred
- Familiarity with humanitarian architecture, donors, UN agencies, NGOs
- Strong knowledge of GBV standards, data management, and protection from SEA
- Experience with GBV case management and relevant program approaches
- Facilitation skills and commitment to supervision
- Experience working with local partners and community mobilization
- Cross-cultural awareness and sound judgment
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
