Opening: Senior Executive Compliance

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Development of new Management Systems / Standards
  2. - Evaluation and approval of new/revised management systems based on regulatory, customer, and manufacturing best practices.
  3. - Detailed study and understanding of the requirements of new standards.
  4. - Conducting gap analysis regarding the implementation of new standards.
  5. - Developing action plans to address identified gaps and facilitating stakeholders.
  6. - Conducting gap analysis versus standards and actual practices.
  7. - Performing risk assessments related to new standards.
  1. Maintenance and continual improvement of Management Systems

- Acting as an internal facilitator for establishing and improving ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System ISO 22000:2018, YUM, and Halaal Food Management System.

- Continual monitoring of all processes with respect to management system requirements.

- SOP development and revision related to management systems.

  1. Internal Audit & External Audit

- Preparing biannual internal audit plans based on process criticality and compliance levels.

- Developing or updating audit checklists.

- Conducting compliance audits and preparing audit reports.

- Assisting in closing non-conformities and preparing for external audits.

- Participating in external audits and ensuring certification processes.

  1. Training & Development: Making Quality Everyone's Responsibility

- Training management staff on management systems.

- Preparing yearly training plans.

- Identifying training needs through interviews and assessments.

- Developing training materials and quality newsletters.

- Handling customer complaints and facilitating their closure.

- Documenting and communicating action plans and verifying their effectiveness.

  1. Support and participate in local and international food regulatory affairs

- Understanding legal requirements and conducting gap analyses.

- Supporting in obtaining and renewing product licenses and registration certificates.

- Assisting in export risk mitigation and legal compliance in foreign markets.

- Facilitating artwork inspections for compliance with labeling laws.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's in Food Science or related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in statutory compliance within the food industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of food safety management, auditing, and system development.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills.

Other Details:

  • Experience: 2-4 years
  • Work Timings: 8 am - 5 pm
  • Work Days: Monday - Saturday
  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • Location: Korangi, Karachi

Fuel allowance: 50 liters
