Job Description:

We are looking for an innovative and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards, are fully functional, and provide a seamless user experience.

To succeed in this role, you must exhibit strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically about both functional and user experience aspects of software.Key Responsibilities:

  • Review design specifications and requirements to understand the scope and functionality of software products.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for:
  • Web applications
  • Mobile applications (primarily Android, iOS a plus)
  • Cloud-based platforms
  • Hardware integrations (MQTT, GPS, gyroscope, and other wearable device sensors)
  • Conduct thorough manual testing across multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and platforms (Dev, Staging, Production), including mobile browsers.
  • Perform integration, end-to-end, and UI/UX testing, as well as basic performance and load testing.
  • Record and track bugs using issue tracking tools, detailing defect type and steps to reproduce.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and QA team members to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
  • Provide feedback on usability and recommend improvements to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and help refine QA methodologies.
  • Recommend and monitor preventive and corrective actions to ensure quality assurance standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA testing for web, mobile (especially Android), and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with API testing tools.
  • Good knowledge of writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with hardware testing (GPS, sensors, gyroscope, MQTT) is a plus.
  • Experience with integration testing between mobile and wearable devices (Android and iOS).
  • Exposure to performance, security, and load testing is a nice-to-have.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus.
  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a distributed team.
  • Must have a functional Windows laptop and stable internet connection.
