Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and design teams to understand requirements and ensure testability of features.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to development teams on identified issues.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• at-least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with one of these e.g., Jira, Selenium, Postman, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, typescript).
• Experience with database testing (SQL).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing principles.
• knowledge of web servers and Deployments (A big Plus)
