The Division
Atex, a division of Constellation Software Inc., headquartered in Sweden with global offices, is a leading software provider for media-rich industries. We develop digital solutions that help our customers streamline operations and optimize digital strategies. We are launching a new generation of our software and are expanding our professional services team to deliver our solutions worldwide.

The Position
We are seeking Trainee Software Developers to join our R&D teams. Selected candidates will undergo 3 to 3.5 months of training to become proficient developers capable of working on enterprise applications. Post-internship, there is a strong possibility of full-time employment based on performance. The role is based at the Contour Software Karachi resource center, working as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Knowledge of Java 11+, Spring, Hibernate.
  • Frontend programming with JavaScript and Angular.
  • Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts (Oracle/Postgres).
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and Git.
  • Quick learner, attentive to detail, and deadline-oriented.
  • Understanding of professional software engineering practices.
  • Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
