Role Summary

Frototype Agency is looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our Hyderabad, Pakistan–based mobile team. In this role, you'll own the full lifecycle of cross-platform apps—from architecture and development through publishing and iteration. Success means shipping performant, maintainable releases on time, delighting clients with rock-solid UX, and collaborating seamlessly with design, QA, and backend teams. You'll report to the Mobile Tech Lead and help define our mobile roadmap as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Build cross-platform iOS & Android apps with React Native, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX designs.
  • State Management: Architect and implement Redux/Redux Toolkit or MobX stores for predictable, testable data flow.
  • App Releases: Prepare, publish, and manage 2–3+ app deployments to Google Play and the App Store, including versioning, code signing, and release notes.
  • Performance & Quality: Profile and optimize app startup time, bundle size, and runtime performance; write unit and integration tests.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and QA on feature scoping, API integration, and bug triage.
  • Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in peer reviews, share best practices, and help onboard junior developers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on React Native ecosystem updates, evaluate new libraries, and drive adoption of relevant tools and patterns.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years building production React Native apps.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Redux/Redux Toolkit or MobX; basic Kotlin and Swift for native module support.
  • Proven Track Record: 2–3+ published apps on Play Store & App Store.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • APIs & Tooling: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane), and Git workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Mindset: Passion for mobile UX, performance optimization, and clean, testable code.
