Role Summary

Frototype Agency is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join our Hyderabad, Pakistan–based mobile team. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of cross-platform apps—from architecture and development to publishing and iteration. Success means delivering performant, maintainable releases on schedule, providing excellent UX, and collaborating effectively with design, QA, and backend teams. The developer will report to the Mobile Tech Lead and contribute to shaping our mobile strategy as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build cross-platform iOS & Android apps using React Native, ensuring UI/UX designs are implemented pixel-perfectly.
  • Architect and implement state management solutions like Redux/Redux Toolkit or MobX for predictable data flow.
  • Prepare, publish, and manage multiple app deployments to Google Play and the App Store, including versioning, signing, and release notes.
  • Optimize app startup time, bundle size, and runtime performance; develop unit and integration tests.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and QA for feature development, API integration, and bug fixing.
  • Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and assist in onboarding junior developers.
  • Stay updated on React Native ecosystem developments, evaluate new libraries, and promote adoption of relevant tools and patterns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience building production React Native applications.
  • Proficiency with Redux/Redux Toolkit or MobX; basic knowledge of Kotlin and Swift for native modules.
  • Proven track record with 2–3 published apps on the Play Store and App Store.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane), and Git workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for mobile UX, performance optimization, and writing clean, testable code.
