Job Summary:

The senior manager Cross Border Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Daraz's international logistics and supply chain processes. This role ensures seamless cross-border e-commerce operations, collaborates with key stakeholders, and drives efficiency improvements to enhance the customer and seller experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Oversee end-to-end cross-border logistics, ensuring efficiency in international shipments and customer deliveries.
• Optimize operational workflows to enhance speed, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality operations.

Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization

• Collaborate with international logistics providers to streamline shipping processes and reduce costs.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery lead times and loss prevention.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with commercial teams, customer support, and seller support to resolve operational challenges.
• Partner with regional teams to implement best practices and align processes across markets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks affecting cross-border operations.

Strategic & Project Management

• Lead business transformation projects to improve the sustainability and scalability of cross-border logistics.
• Plan resources effectively, especially during peak periods and promotional campaigns.
• Implement data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making and operational excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-border logistics, international trade, or e-commerce operations.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain management and cross-border shipping regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders across different regions.
• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; experience with logistics software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive collaboration and influence decision-making.
