Job Overview

Are you an enthusiastic WordPress developer ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with strong foundational skills and a keen interest in building high-quality, user-friendly websites and digital solutions. You'll work on real-world projects, collaborate with senior developers, and contribute to exciting brands.

Responsibilities

• Customize existing themes and plugins as per requirements
• Optimize websites for performance and write SEO-friendly code
• WooCommerce customization and extend features
• Follow best practices for security and coding standards
• Build Elementor widgets and custom widgets
• Use Git for version control and collaboration
• Implement animations and interactive elements using modern JS libraries (e.g., GSAP)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CSE, IT, or related field; exceptional skills may relax this requirement
• Strong knowledge of PHP (OOP and procedural)
• Deep understanding of WordPress Core, Theme, and Plugin architecture
• Proficient in MySQL and database query optimization
• Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS
• JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• Interest in learning animation libraries like GSAP
• Experience with WooCommerce customization and plugin development
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• Familiarity with WordPress hooks (Actions and Filters)
• Experience with Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Custom Fields (ACF/Codestar Framework)
• Proficient in WP_Query & MySQL
• Ability to build themes following WordPress Coding Standards
• Experience with page builders: Elementor, Gutenberg
• Good design sense and ability to build modern, responsive websites
• Experience converting Figma designs to web pages
• PHP framework experience is a plus

Salary and Benefits

• BDT 20k – BDT 30k per month, depending on experience and qualifications
• Work Schedule: 5 days/week (Fri-Sat weekends), 10 AM to 07 PM; occasional Saturday work may be required
