Construction Manager

Purpose of the Job:

The Construction Manager ensures the timely execution of projects while adhering to time, cost, and quality standards. The work is executed according to drawings, with a focus on health and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver construction projects in accordance with the approved schedule.
  2. Develop action plans for contractors and monitor cost control.
  3. Execute work as per drawings, specifications, and appendices.
  4. Oversee hurdles, risks, and obstacles that may delay progress.
  5. Facilitate communication with contractors, clarify RFIs, and achieve key milestones, including fulfilling monthly billing requirements.
  6. Ensure timely material demand, acquisition, and delivery, and manage the site effectively.
  7. Maintain health and safety standards during work execution.
  8. Ensure quality of work, workmanship, adequate manpower, and proper material utilization.
  9. Monitor and update management on work progress.
  10. Coordinate between the head office and site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Project Management certification (preferred)

Experience Required:

  • 12-15 years of experience in construction, mainly high-rise projects
  • Location: Multan
