Role Purpose

The role involves leading the design team and creating visually compelling content that aligns with the brand's vision and marketing strategy. It requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and technical design skills to oversee the development of digital and print materials, ensuring consistency across all channels. The position is key in driving the company's visual identity, managing projects from conception to delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards and deadlines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Accountabilities

  1. Design Leadership - Lead the graphic design team in producing innovative and high-quality visual content across digital and print platforms. Establish design processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency in project delivery.
  2. Brand Management - Ensure all designs align with the company's branding and marketing objectives. Maintain and update brand guidelines for visual identity consistency across all channels.
  3. Creative Strategy - Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling design concepts supporting campaigns and product launches. Lead brainstorming sessions for creative ideas.
  4. Project Management - Oversee the design process from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Manage multiple projects, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Review and approve design outputs, perform final checks on all materials before sharing.
  5. Innovation & Trend Analysis - Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative design approaches. Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge / Skills

  • Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and design's role in supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Sketch.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of digital and print design projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to mentor and develop a team, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.

Education / Certifications

Having a professional certification is a plus.
