Role Overview:

To support the Accounts and Costing team in executing daily, monthly, and annual financial activities with a focus on cost control, reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The MTO will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and the development of standardized costing models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close daily, order-wise costing files in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for internal review and management decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely submission of cost reports as per reporting schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Collect and consolidate data from relevant departments for budgeting purposes.
  • Monitor actual costs against budgeted figures.
  • Highlight and report significant variances and potential cost overruns to management.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard costing models.
  • Assist in periodic reviews and updates to ensure costing models reflect operational realities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: ICMA/BBA (Finance)/MBA (Finance)/ ACCA (Part Qualified) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant internship/experience in costing or accounts.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Basic knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting standards.
