Position Overview

We're looking for a creative, energetic, and socially savvySocial Media and Community Engagement Coordinatorto join our team. You'll be responsible for managing our social media presence across platforms, creating engaging content, and helping our students confidently share their own stories online. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who's constantly online, obsessed with trends, and excited about community-driven impact.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Create and publish daily content (graphics, reels, stories, carousels, etc.) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Design and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with campaigns, student milestones, and educational themes
  • Shoot and edit short-form videos of students, team members, and events using mobile tools
  • Track performance insights and recommend improvements

Community Engagement

  • Respond to DMs, comments, and tags within 24 hours
  • Monitor engagement and build positive interactions with followers
  • Share social media guidelines with students and help them align their content accordingly
  • Assist students in refining their content ideas, shooting and editing videos, and reviewing graphics with timely feedback

Creative Collaboration

  • Co-create campaigns that spotlight student success, training updates, or key events
  • Work closely with trainers, alumni, and the communications team to bring stories to life

  • Are confident usingCanva, CapCut, InShot, or similar mobile editing tools
  • Stay up to date withtrending audio, formats, and online culture
  • Are passionate aboutgender justice, education, or tech for good
  • Are proactive, organized, and enjoy being around young people
  • Can work independently and are confident about managing your own time and content pipeline
