We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of automated testing frameworks. As an SDET, you will be responsible for developing robust test automation solutions, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and integrating testing practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  • Build and enhance test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for scalable and maintainable automated testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and enforce best practices.
  • Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly in the bug tracking system.
  • Conduct performance, security, and regression testing as needed.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues and work with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and technologies in software testing and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development or automation testing.
  • Experience with modern testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
