Role Overview: The Senior Front End Developer will be a key contributor, shaping our product suite by creating innovative, user-focused web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leading the development of modern front-end experiences, ensuring seamless backend integration, and delivering engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to build scalable front-end solutions.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using React.
  • Lead refactoring efforts with AngularJS to improve performance and scalability.
  • Translate designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces with animations and advanced styling.
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks and estimate development efforts.
  • Design and integrate REST APIs with backend teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues across development stages.
  • Document features and processes clearly.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
  • Stay updated with front-end trends and best practices.

Technical Proficiency

  • 5+ years of experience with React, Typescript, Webpack in production.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on AngularJS experience, including migration/refactoring.
  • Deep understanding of Typescript.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, preprocessors, and layout systems.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Experience with data structures and system decomposition.
  • Ability to balance design, performance, and timelines.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts simply.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

User-Centric Development:

  • Focus on engaging user experiences and accessibility.

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, available during Pacific Time business hours.

Optional Skills:

  • Knowledge of security, compiler theory, canvas rendering, design systems, open-source contributions, websockets, and AI tools.
