We're looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist (AI & ML) to join our cutting-edge product team. This role is critical in advancing our AI-driven solutions, especially in identity verification, fraud detection, OCR, facial recognition, and compliance automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale ML models that improve accuracy, speed, and fraud resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize AI/ML models for:
  2. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) for identity documents
  3. Facial recognition and biometric verification
  4. Liveness detection and deepfake prevention
  5. Fraud detection and anomaly detection systems
  6. Research and implement state-of-the-art algorithms in CV, NLP, and deep learning.
  7. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML models into production-grade systems.
  8. Clean, analyze, and preprocess large-scale datasets, including image, video, and text.
  9. Conduct A/B testing and model performance evaluation.
  10. Continuously monitor, retrain, and improve model accuracy and efficiency.
  11. Publish documentation and maintain model versioning pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML roles (preferably in a SaaS product or Fintech domain).
  3. Strong hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
  4. Experience working with computer vision, OCR models (Tesseract, EasyOCR, etc.), face recognition libraries (e.g., FaceNet, Dlib), and liveness detection.
  5. Proficiency with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) for model training and deployment.
  6. Familiarity with MLOps tools, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker).
  7. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  8. Experience in building and deploying ML models in a real-time production environment is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in fintech, fraud detection, or identity verification platforms.
  2. Exposure to RegTech, AML compliance, or KYC frameworks.
  3. Familiarity with tools like Airflow, MLflow, or Kubeflow.
  4. Published research or projects in the field of AI/ML/CV.
