Title: Student Services Assistant

Position Overview:

As a Student Services Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting student welfare, engagement, and retention through a variety of on-campus and virtual initiatives. You will serve as a point of contact for student queries, grievances, and support services, while also assisting in the planning and execution of co-curricular events and activities. You will work closely with students, academic departments, and administrative staff to help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Prior experience in TNE (Transnational Education) institutions will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between students and various university departments to address concerns and ensure timely resolutions
  • Support student engagement by assisting in the coordination of orientations, workshops, social events, and peer-support activities
  • Maintain updated records of student interactions, grievances, and support outcomes
  • Assist in organizing closed-group sessions, mental health awareness activities, and student feedback forums
  • Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, or in-person, offering guidance on campus life, policies, and services
  • Contribute to the development of student resources, handbooks, and campus support materials
  • Provide administrative support for student-related documentation, events, and reports

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in student affairs, academic support, or related services; TNE experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a student-centered approach
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with CRM or student management systems is a plus
