The position is responsible to plan, execute and monitor all civil work-related jobs like maintenance, renovations, extensions, drawings etc. and ensure that all activities are carried out as per schedule and in accordance with the plant's safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all civil works at the plant including modification and repairing. Furthermore, assign job to the workers according to the priority of work.
  • Plan and manage routine maintenance activities and resolve civil related matters and issues.
  • Monitor and check all civil related projects with the civil contractors.
  • Supervise, resolve queries, and advise the contracting firms regarding modifications if required.
  • Prepare and revise SOPs, work instructions, check lists and other documents for improvement in civil work procedures.
  • Check stock level of all spare parts (locally procured / imported) as well as inspect material at store (local and import).
  • Prepare detailed drawings concerning the building plans, layout plans in AUTOCAD and costing worksheets of civil work.
  • Plan and design sketches, BOQs, and cost estimation of civil projects / jobs.
  • Prepare comparative statement of quantities and cost between estimated and actual work done with variance analysis.
  • Visit work sites and workplaces to monitor quality, progress and operations are as per drawings and specifications.
  • Create notification based on any abnormality found. Furthermore, create a refurbishment order to start the refurbishment process.
  • Maintain all technical details and create a maintenance order related to corrective, breakdown, preventive, condition based and shutdown processes if detailed planning or spares are required..
  • Develop plans for the utilization of materials, labour, and services. Decide for material / services procurement.
  • Process Measuring Document to measure the upper and lower ranges and generate a warning message accordingly.
  • Work on already created Maintenance Orders and perform the Order Execution Process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years of
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
