The Catalyst Group is hiring a Mid-Level Product Manager for its client, IBL Group.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

About the role: As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the product roadmap, gathering and prioritising requirements, and ensuring successful execution from concept to launch. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver products that meet market needs and align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the product strategy and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define and prioritise product features, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Gather customer insights through interviews, surveys, and market analysis to inform product development.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritise features, and make trade-off decisions to maximise business value.
  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Define and track success metrics such as user engagement, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
  • Serve as the main contact for product updates, provide progress reports, and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Coordinate and execute product launches, aligning with marketing, sales, and support teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate with engineering teams; experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback processes.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making, familiar with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and prioritising effectively.
  • Creative problem-solver with decision-making skills under uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in startup or fast-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Knowledge of UX best practices and design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles like customer success or support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
