We are looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient Full-Stack WordPress & Web Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end WordPress development, with experience building fully custom websites from scratch not just editing pre-built themes. You will be responsible for converting complex UI/UX designs from tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop into responsive, high-performance WordPress websites.

The role requires deep familiarity with custom theme and plugin development, third-party API integrations, payment gateways, eCommerce systems, advanced form processing, and website performance optimization. You should be comfortable working with modern development workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable websites for both local and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Custom WordPress Development

• Convert UI/UX designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
• Create custom post types, taxonomies, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) templates, and flexible content layouts for dynamic websites.

2. Theme & Plugin Management

• Create and manage custom themes (not relying on pre-built themes).
• Build lightweight, secure, and scalable custom plugins when needed.
• Customize third-party plugins and extend their functionalities without affecting core updates.
• Use child themes for safe customization of commercial themes (when required).

3. Third-Party Integrations

• eCommerce: WooCommerce customization, product filters, dynamic pricing, shipping & tax configuration.
• Payment Gateways: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, JazzCash, 2Checkout, and bank gateway integrations.
• Marketing & Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, Meta Conversions API.
• CRM & Email Marketing: Integrate with Mailchimp, SendGrid, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce.
• APIs & External Services: Integrate REST APIs for live feeds, booking engines, ERP systems, SMS gateways, Google Maps, and more.
• Social Media Integrations: Instagram Feeds, Facebook Chat, Twitter Widgets, YouTube Embeds.

4. Performance, Security & SEO

• Implement caching solutions (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed).
• Use lazy loading, image optimization (WebP), and minification to enhance page speed (LCP, FID, CLS).
• Perform Core Web Vitals optimization as per Google Lighthouse reports.
• Implement security best practices: SSL, HTTPS redirects, Wordfence, limiting login attempts, DB protection.
• Implement on-page SEO with proper heading hierarchy, schema markup, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Use debugging tools (e.g., Query Monitor, Debug Bar, Chrome DevTools).
• Perform code validation (W3C standards) and accessibility checks (WCAG 2.1 where required).

6. Deployment & Maintenance

• Use Git for version control and collaborate via GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Stage websites on local environments (LocalWP, MAMP/WAMP) and migrate to staging/production via tools like WP Migrate DB Pro, All-in-One WP Migration, or manually.
• Perform routine backups, plugin/theme updates, and security patching.

Required Skills & Tools

• CMS: Deep knowledge of WordPress Core, Custom Theme/Plugin Development
• Page Builders: Elementor, Gutenberg (for component blocks), WPBakery (if legacy)
• Advanced Tools: ACF Pro, CPT UI, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, REST API, WPML (Multilingual sites)
• Dev Tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Composer (optional), Node.js/NPM (for front-end builds)
• Performance Tools: Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, WebPageTest
• Optimization Plugins: WP Rocket, Imagify, ShortPixel, LiteSpeed Cache
• Security Tools: Wordfence, iThemes Security, UpdraftPlus, Sucuri
• QA & Debugging: Query Monitor, Debug Bar, Chrome DevTools

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in custom WordPress development
• Proven track record of building complete websites from scratch, not just editing themes
• A solid portfolio of live websites or GitHub repositories showcasing custom code and integrations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work in agile or sprint-based environments
