About the job
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, deploy, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure for our Tether Data Division. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a security-first mindset.
The candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience managing mission-critical systems with 99.99% uptime
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Proven incident management and resolution track record
- Ability to work independently and in a global team
- Strong security, threat detection, and mitigation experience
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability infrastructure solutions at scale
- Orchestrate deployments and updates across our infrastructure
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
- Conduct internal security audits and hardening measures
- Mentor junior team members
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience
- Expertise in:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Container orchestration (Docker/Podman)
- GPU container management
- Virtualization platforms (QEMU/KVM)
- Network architecture (VPN, SDN, Load Balancing)
- Security practices and infrastructure hardening
- NodeJS application deployment and scaling
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Github CI)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Version control (Git)
- Usage of FIDO2 and Yubikeys for server administration
